Folkstyle Pin Rating Awards

USA Wrestling developed the Pin Rating system and ranks wrestlers based on how many matches they have won and who they have defeated.  Team GA will award wrestlers at the end of the Folkstyle Season who have achieved the highest Pin Rating in his and her respective Age Groups. We will also be rewarding the wrestler who has demonstrated significant improvement over the Folkstyle Season and the highest overall Pin Rating individual wrestler at the end of the Folkstyle Season. The State Qualifiers will mark the last tournament for which Pin Ratings will be counted.  These awards will be given out at the Kids State Tournament.

Eligibility for the Pin Rating Awards:

• Wrestlers must have wrestled in at least 3 Team GA USA Open tournaments in the current Folkstyle Season.
• In order to receive the Most Improved Pin Rating Award, a wrestler must at least be in his/her second year of active competition.

6U – Highest Pin Rating

8U - Highest Pin Rating

10U - Highest Pin Rating

12U – Highest Pin Rating

14U – Highest Pin Rating

Most Improved Pin Rating

Highest Overall Pin Rating
