Team Georgia Wrestling

WHEN: Sunday February 23, 2025

WHERE: Lanier High School, 918 Buford Hwy NE, Sugar Hill, GA 30518 

REGISTRATION: $40 per wrestler.  Only one registration per wrestler is allowed.

Registration closes February 19, 2025 at 9:00am.

 Wrestlers max. No walk-in registrations will be allowed.

FORMAT:  Weight Classes offered (100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215 and 285 (+5lbs Allowance)(i.e., 106=111)

PERIODS: All periods will be 2-2-2 (Championship Bouts) and 1-2-2 (Consolation Bouts)

ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all Georgia Residents that are Freshman (9th Grade) or 8th graders who are 15 and ineligible to wrestle in kids state.  You must have a current and valid USA Wrestling Athlete card to participate. IF YOU ARE IN 8TH GRADE AND ELIGIBLE TO WRESTLE KIDS STATE YOU CAN NOT REGISTER FOR FRESHMAN STATE.

WEIGH INS:  Weigh-Ins for Freshman State are Sunday February 23, 2025 from 7:00am to 7:30 am.

WRESTLING:  Wrestling starts at 8:30am

Spectator Admission --  TICKETS WILL BE ON GOFAN ONLY

Adult (12 and over):  = $15

Child (3 to 11): = $7

65+ =  $5 WITH ID

Child under 3:  FREE
