Team Georgia Wrestling

Each year, Team Georgia sponsors teams to compete against the other states in the nation both in dual and individual formats.

Team Georgia National Dual Teams

For 2024, Team Georgia USA Wrestling will be taking the following teams:

• Schoolboy Duals (born 10-11) - June 12-15th - Oaks, PA
• Cadet Duals (born 08-09) - June 12- 15th - Herriman, UT
• Junior Duals (born 9/2004 & after) - June 19 - 22nd - Tulsa, OK
• Women's Junior Duals (born 9/2004 & after) - June 19 - 22nd - Tulsa, OK
• Women's 14u (born 10-11) & Cadet (born 08-09) Duals - June 19 - 22nd - Westfield, IN

The current plan is to take two teams per event but Schoolboy interest may dictate only one, as well as each women's team. Each team will seek to fill each weight class and may take a couple extra wrestlers at the coach's discretion.

Other regional/national Olympic styles events

Southeast regionals, kids nationals and world team trials are supported by Team Georgia but are not considered national team events. Anyone can attend these events (for kids nationals, you must at least participate in SE regionals). A list of all events can be found at www.teamgawrestling.org/olympicseason

National Team Practices & Camps

Practices are open to anyone interested in being part of Team Georgia. Camps will be for those who make a dual team or Fargo. More info at https://www.teamgawrestling.org/natlteamcamps
