Girls Cadet/Junior Nationals (Fargo) Qualifications Process:
The top 4 placers at the State Tournament on May 11th in each age/weight/style will qualify for Fargo. However, anyone who is an automatic qualifier does not count against our 4 spots (example: if an auto qualifier wins state, the next 4 below will qualify). Auto qualifiers include:
You must wrestle the same weight at Freestyle/Greco State as you do at Fargo. This tournament will have a +3lb allowance.
***A table will be set up to indicate your commitment for the trip and pay your deposit.***
If a top 4 placer does NOT choose to attend Fargo or does not pay their deposit on time, the next highest placer at state will get the opportunity to go.
Each wrestler qualifying will receive an email (sent to the registration email) with payment instructions.
Southeast Regionals May 17-19 - Last Chance qualifier
Since SE Regionals is after state, this will provide additional ways to qualify. Either you can place top 6 and qualify yourself. OR someone else can place top 6 and that will open up a spot for the state because it adds to our auto-qualifiers. Placement must be in the same age, style and weight as you will go at Fargo. Please send an email to secretary@teamgeorgiawrestling.com by May 10th if your wrestler plans to go to SER for Fargo qualification.

Note: If your wrestler qualified at state for one style and is planning to go to SER to attempt qualification at the other style, please note that if their deposit from the state qualifier is not paid on May 16th, they will lose the state qualifier spot and will then be looking to qualify for both styles at SER.
If Both FS & GR: $850 trip cost ($700 if wrestler already has a gear package from duals) + Must purchase flights individually.
If one style only: $750 trip cost ($600 if wrestler already has a gear package from duals) + Must purchase flights individually.
Girls:
$750 trip cost ($600 if wrestler already has a gear package from duals) + Must purchase flights individually.
NOTE: The actual cost of the trip is double what the athlete is paying - Team Georgia proudly sponsors at least 50% of the trip for all athletes.

Trip Cost Includes:
Tournament Registration, Local Transportation, Fargo Camp, Coaching, Hotel Accommodations, Meals, Gear Package (2 singlets, shorts, jacket, 4 shirts, gear bag, and joggers)
If an athlete elects to stay with their parents (See below for details) the trip cost will be reduced by $100.
Payment Schedule:
INITIAL $300 DEPOSIT IS DUE MAY 22, 2024 – Deposits are Non-Refundable after May 22, 2024 – NO EXCEPTIONS
After the wrestler qualifies at the state tournament on May 11th, a $300 Deposit is due on or before May 22nd. Deposits will also be collected at the state tournament.
If the wrestler qualifies at SE Regionals, $300 Deposit is due by May 22nd. Deposits will be collected at SER.

OPTION 2: Pay by Cash or Check made out to Team Georgia Wrestling – Checks or cash can be turned into Jessica Parent at the state tournament or SE Regionals.
DEADLINES
JUNE 15, 2024 - Proof of Flight
***ALL flights must have been booked and proof provided by June 15th***

JULY 1, 2024 - BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN FULL
Balances can be paid using Option 1 or 2 above and/or wrestlers will be invoiced.

FLIGHT DATES:
Girls: Must arrive in Fargo on July 11th and must depart Fargo early on July 15th.
Cadet and Junior Boys Freestyle and Greco: Must arrive in Fargo on July 13th and depart the morning of July 21st.
Cadet and Junior Freestyle Only: Must arrive in Fargo on July 13th and must depart Fargo early on July 18th.
Cadet and Junior Greco Only: Must arrive in Fargo July 17th and must depart Fargo the morning of July 21st.
There will only be a shuttle from the Fargo airport to the hotel.
If a wrestler is registered for both Freestyle and Greco but decides not to do Greco, the wrestler must change flights and fly out on the morning of July 18th. The wrestler will not be permitted to stay until the 21st.

Athletes Traveling and Staying with their Parents:
Some wrestlers may choose to stay with their parents in Fargo. Please note the pricing will only be reduced by $100 if the athlete stays with a parent. If your wrestler is not staying with the team, this needs to be indicated in the google 2024 Fargo Registration Form by May 22nd (link coming soon).
Elections to travel and stay with the team or travel and stay with the wrestler’s parents cannot be changed after May 22, 2024. If the athlete chooses to stay with a parent and not with the team, the parent is 100% responsible for the athlete for the entire trip. This includes all transportation, meals and accommodations. The athlete must attend all team meetings, practices, and warmups and arrive on time. Athletes staying with their parents will not be allowed in the rooms of athletes staying with Team Georgia. Athletes staying with Team Georgia will not be allowed in the rooms of athletes staying with their parents. Athletes staying with Team Georgia will not be allowed in vehicles other than the Team Georgia approved Trip Leads and Coaches.

All waivers must be signed and uploaded along with copies of wrestler’s insurance card and birth certificate.
If wrestler went on a dual trip, the information does not have to be added in the system for a second time as long as there are no changes. Please contact secretary@teamgeorgiawrestling.com to update information on any changes during the season (i.e insurance).

Uniform Package Information:
Fargo Only Athletes will need to supply team gear sizes no later than
May 17th, 2024. Uniform Pkg includes gear bag, 2 singlets, 4 shirts, shorts, joggers, crewneck
Southeast Regional qualifiers will need to enter sizes and upload information no later than June 4th (date may change) to be guaranteed a uniform package. Note: Uniform package is required.
This camp is for Fargo wrestlers only. Camp is mandatory for all Fargo wrestlers.
